General Description
BUILDER'S REMARKS: The Leopard 44 was \"Boat of the Year\" when introduced in 2011. The judges were raving about the speed on the water, easy handling and the revolutionary forward cockpit. The Leopard 44 features 2 cockpits, 1 fore and 1 aft with an outside dining area, protected by a functional hard-top bimini with mounted solar panels (back side).

The galley-up has ample storage and a huge drawer type fridge and freezer. No steps up or down anywhere on the salon level. The 3-cabin layout features an owner-dedicated starboard hull with master stateroom, office area and a large head with a separate stall shower forward.

Sailing the Leopard 44 is easy; both main and jib sheets lead to stoppers and self-tailing (electric) winches directly adjacent to the helm. There's room for 2 on the bench-style helm seat, but you need only one to trim sails!

Actual Condition
\"A STRAY SHOWER\" wasn't exactly what she encountered, but she still has a good base to work from. It is reported this Leopard 44 was submerged to the salon ceiling, therefore, as you may expect, all aspects on the mechanical (generators, motors etc..) and electrical must be reviewed and evaluated. The only part that managed to stay dry was the helm. The props and rudders appear to be ok. Please review all the photos, as they speak for themselves.

Here is where a lot of muriatic acid, non-diluted, comes into play. Roll it on with a heavy paint roller, scrub brush, and then wash all the barnacles away (you must wear protective gear including eye protection).
