The Irwin 52 was quoted by the factory as “the ultimate world cruiser” and it was Ted Irwin’s original vision for a deck salon style boat. This beamy ketch rig cruiser has comfortable motoryacht style interior accommodations, yet still has excellent performance under sail. She has a relaxing enclosable cockpit space, wide side decks for easy access to the foredeck and raised bulwarks to keep the water off the deck. She has three cabins each with a private head. The master stateroom has a centerline queen berth aft and a separate shower/tub in the head. Irwin 52’s are one of the most popular 50 plus foot boats built for cruising with over 250 hulls built.
