6 bedroom House For Sale: 45..

A rare and wonderful opportunity to own a residence in the popular Harbourview community in Smiths Cove. The same family has owned this property since the 1960s when it operated as a dance hall, then converted to holiday rentals. In the 90's it was remodeled and served as a vacation home for family. In 2009/10 the owners completed an extensive renovation and expansion, creating a sophisticated 1900 sq. ft. residence for comfortable country living. This included a custom oak kitchen with cork tile floor, oak shelving and built-ins, engineered hardwood floors, a new all-season sunroom, and a large master suite with oversized walk-in closet and study. Above the study you can climb the stairs to a tower room: a tranquil hideaway offering beautiful views of the countryside. The spacious second bedroom in the main living area has its own ensuite bath. Under the same roof you will find an additional 1200 square feet of self-contained living space, perfect for visiting family or to rent as a holiday rental. A full kitchen, dining and living area with access to the deck and an inviting screened porch, plus two bedrooms, one with ensuite and a private deck. If all this isn't enough, the basement level boasts an additional walkout rental or guest suite with two bedrooms, baths, kitchen/living area and home gym. There is also a finished office space, garage and large workshop. All this on a beautifully landscaped 2.43 acre lot, circular drive, and ready access to the community pool, tennis courts, and the beach. This property, that carries a membership in the community association, has been lovingly cared for and must be viewed in order to fully appreciate what is being offered.
