Big renovated house with apartment and..

Situated in the centre of Montmorillon, this renovated house is two separate, though connected properties. To the road side we have a 3 bedroom home and over the courtyard (or through the 1st floor conservatory) we have a one bedroom apartment, with both elements having access to the lovely riverside terrace. Into the house we have a long hallway, with access to the house via a 2nd front door. Entering, we have a small lobby, with, to the right, a super fitted kitchen with French door out to the courtyard and a neat, new shower room. To the left we have a smallish dining room (about 10m2).

Up the old turning staircase we come to a big landing with a rather lovely old fitted cupboard. To the right we have a sitting room with board floor and marble fireplace. To the left we have a very pretty bedroom of about 18m2 with board floor and marble fireplace, we have a door here to the conservatory that separates the house from the apartment. At the top of the house we have two bedrooms, either side of the door that reaches them - these are not walled from each other at the moment with the owner having preferred to leave them open plan.

The apartment is reached by an external stair from the courtyard, here we have a large, very comfortable, open plan sitting room / fitted kitchen of around 20m2 with views over the river. A corridor leads to a newish bathroom and then on to the conservatory and a stair takes us to the bedroom of about 14m2 with velux.

From the courtyard we have access to a cellar area and a laundry area as well as a rather splendid terrace by the river and with access down to it - great fishing, here - or just laze around! Really interesting house, this - you will need to walk round twice before you get the layout!
