Chamonix, France

Chalet des Lacs is a beautifully renovated chalet with plenty of style situated in Les Bois just a few minutes' walk from the La Flegere ski area and the Chamonix golf course.

The chalet's main entrance is on the ground floor into a central hallway leading to two good-sized bedrooms, a bathroom and a master suite with a dressing room and en suite bathroom. There is a well-maintained, south-east facing garden which is accessed from this floor.

A new staircase leads to the first floor which has a further bedroom and bathroom and an attractive loft-style living area with a modern kitchen, dining and living areas. A wooden staircase leads to the large mezzanine office/bedroom with two Velux windows providing great views of the surrounding mountains. In the basement there is a laundry /technical room and three further rooms. Currently they are used as storage, but 2 bedrooms and a cinema/play room could easily be created.

The chalet has a well-maintained, south-east facing garden with fabulous views of Les Drus and the Mont Blanc range.

Our opinion
Chalet des Lacs is a stylish chalet with a stunning loft-style living area and potential to create further living space or bedrooms on the lower-ground floor. A great opportunity in a well sought-after location.
