Creuse is located to the north west edge of the Massif Central mountain range and is about 6/7 hours drive from Calais and about 3 hours from Paris.

The inhabitants are called the 'Creusois' and are warm and welcoming, the area is one of the less populated departments of France being mainly rural and making the choice of properties to buy there very attractive.
