Contemporary house with pool on the edge of the town

This modern 3-bedroom house with swimming pool is set on the very edge of this popular riverside market town.

House

The front door opens to the entrance hall with a tiled floor. To the left of the hall a pair of glazed doors opens to the triple-aspect L-shaped living room (about 40m2 in total) with a tiled floor, fireplace and four pairs of French windows opening onto the garden. This room is easily large enough clearly defined sitting and dining areas.

To the right of the hall a door opens to the kitchen (10.5m) with tiled floor, a range of kitchen units and a pair of French windows to the garden.

To the back of the entrance hall a corridor leads to two bedrooms (13.5m2 and 11m2) both of which have French windows to the garden. Also off the corridor are a bathroom (bath, wash-basin, bidet and WC) as well as a separate WC.

To the far side of the living room a door opens to another bedroom (13m2) with wooden floor. This room has an ensuite shower room (shower, wash-basin and WC).

Garden

The house sits on a level plot of about 1450m2. To the front of the house is a paved terrace, gravel parking area and a lawn. To the side of the house is a covered terrace (accessible from the living room). The rest of the garden is mainly laid to lawn with a number of mature trees and shrubs. On the south side of the garden is the swimming pool - making most of its sunny position.

This light an airy house is set on the edge of the town - with its close neighbour being large chateau - and therefore has a lovely country feel. But the town centre with its shops, bars and restaurants is within easy walking distance, as are the river and the park.
