About Normandy

Normandy, so close to Britain and yet so very French. Lush pastureland, ancient woods, apple orchards, sandy beaches, important historic battle sites and, of course, the beautiful Mont St Michel all make Normandy a popular destination for holidays or full time living. No wonder so many people buy Normandy property.

We specialise in the department known as La Manche which is basically the peninsular sticking out into the channel. This department has the best of everything Normandy has to offer, coastline to the north, south and west with cliffs, coves and sandy beaches, D day landing beaches and museums, the city of Cherbourg, reconstructed after the Second World War and the abbey of Mont St Michel at the point where Normandy meets Brittany.

Access from the UK is easy with ports at Cherbourg and Caen meaning that you and your visitors do not need to hire a car; with so much to see you will certainly want to be able to get around! But when you need a rest you will be able to enjoy the apples, Camembert, seafood and cider for which this region is so famous. For sure, the climate is not much better than in the UK but there is so much to enjoy in easily accessible Normandy which is why so many French people and UK buyers now call Normandy home. Search our site for Normandy property for sale, it won't disappoint.
