House In Vasil Levski, Plovdiv

A fully renovated large house in the village of Vasil Levski, which is 10 kilometres from Karlovo and approximately 60 kilometres north of Plovdiv.

This beautifully designed house is finished to a high standard throughout and comes chain free. The house has been designed in a traditional Bulgarian style to enable it to blend with the natural surroundings as well as to add character. The spacious and light internal spaces give a warm homely feeling.

The whole house is surrounded by concrete pathways and the smaller house has a large covered terrace, in the summer, grape vines grow over the wooden trellis.

The main house has an independent security alarm, both houses have wireless internet and satellite TV. There is also new solar powered solar heater with capacity of 200 litres hot water.

At the back of the house is an attached large storage room 3.5m x 5m. A further 120 litres electric boiler is housed here along with a storage water tank and pressurised system to keep a good flow of water to the property. In the back of the garden is a covered store for wood. The property has a very large septic tank, big enough to support another house.

The big garden is in 2 parts. The main garden is approx. 1200 square metres, grassed with a wide variety of beautiful trees.

Views from the garden are to the beautiful mountains and the surrounding countryside. The pathways are gravel edged with reclaimed railway sleepers. Access to the property is through large wooden gates and there is ample parking for several cars.

There is also a superb covered barbeque area which allows for al fresco entertaining whilst being able to enjoy the spectacular views.

Karlovo is growing fast for rural tourism, 6 new working museums have opened in the old part of town, parks and gardens are currently being renovated, roads and pavements improved, a lot of work is going on which will benefit the town, the people and visitors. Paragliding is very popular with the Shambhala centre just five kilometres further on from Karlovo, chair lift to the top of the mountain, spa towns of Hisar, Banya and Pavel Banya close by, wineries, eco paths, fishing, hiking, monasteries, Koprivshtitsa is half an hour away, Shipka and same in the other direction, all to see and do. Karlovo is located in the rose valley and holds an event every year during the last weekend in May. The rose festival in Kazanlauk is held over the first weekend in June.
