Description

This is a charming single storey house in a very tranquil spot, not far from the popular market town of Trie sur Baise.

For peace and quiet as well as great countryside views then look no further. For here you have just that! It is just so pretty! As you look down towards the rooftops of the rural village it is wonderful.

There are neighbours some distance away, which is reassuring, but you feel very private. Truly a retreat in the countryside, with a view that will enthrall and entice you every day.

This House offers you:

Lounge / dining room with wood burner, corner kitchen, corridor with access to 2 bedrooms, bathroom, separate wc,
terrace (30 sq metres) with pergola, garden shed, workshop/shed , car port, orchard with 16 fruit trees.

So, this delightful property close to Trie sur Baise would be ideal for you as a holiday home to relax and unwind. Or a permanent residence, immaculate, easily maintained and ready for you to start enjoying life here in France !

Situated close to the local village of Trie-sur-Baise as well as Castelnau-Magnoac and Lannemezan (with their lively weekly markets).

Trie-sur-Baise is a lively market town with plenty of shops to satisfy everyday requirements (even a restaurant/ takeaway pizzeria where they are made by a renowned 'champion') as well as local tourist office and internet cafe. In addition, every Tuesday, there is the traditional market.

Also swimming pool and sports to enjoy!

Closest airports: Tarbes / Lourdes and Toulouse Blagnac or take the train to Carcassonne (just twenty minutes away at Lannemezan).

The department of Hautes-Pyrenees is the southern-most department of the Midi Pyrenees region, its capital being the beautiful town of Tarbes. The department has a very interesting geography as two small sections belonging geographically to Aquitaine are administratively part of the Hautes-Pyrenees. The department is split into two very different landscapes: mountains to the south covering half of the department, valleys to the north where the majority of the towns and villages are.

The economy of the department is mainly agricultural and tourism. Inside Midi Pyrenees, smaller areas have traditional names such as the Comminges (east of Toulouse) or the famous Gascony. Hautes-Pyrenees is a very nice area to settle and one area to look out for (not very well known) is the Baronnies, a set of 30 villages which decided to preserve their rural traditions. An unspoilt area, they represent the rural idyll for anybody in search for absolute peace, authenticity and rest.
