La Zenia is approximately 40 minutes' drive south of Alicante Airport. San Javier Murcia airport is only about 15-20 minutes to the south.

La Zenia is a popular base from which you can go play on the many nearby golf courses should you wish to take a break from the beaches. The closest golf course is Royal Campoamor golf club, another one in Las Ramblas de Orihuela golf club and Villamartin golf club just a short drive away - about 20 minutes.
