Large modern house with commanding vineyard views

This spacious contemporary 4 bedroom house has stunning views over the vineyards of the Grande Champagne.

House

Ground floor

The garden path leads to a north-facing covered terrace which in turn leads to the front door. The front door opens to a tiled entrance hall. To the left a door opens into a double reception room (about 60 sq m) with wooden floor, fireplace and fine views to the south over the vineyards.

To the right of the hall a door opens to the dining room (12 sq m) wth tiled floor. From here a door opens to the kitchen (9 sq m) with a range of fitted units. To the rear of the kitchen a door opens to a further reception room (20 sq m) with tiled floor. Part of this room is partitioned off as a utility room. From this reception room a pair of glazed doors open to the south-facing terrace (30 sq m) which has very fine views over vineyards and woodland. To the rear of the entrance hall is the staircase to the first floor under which is the ground floor WC.

First floor

The stairs rise to the first floor landing, off which are four spacious bedrooms (24 sq m, 19 sq m, 14 sq m and 14 sq m). All of the bedrooms have wooden floors. There is also a bathroom (bath, shower, washbasin and WC). At the end of the landing a door opens to another north-facing covered terrace.

Basement level

A staircase descends from the ground floor to the basement which covers the same surface area as the first floor and which comprises a number of rooms including a double garage and the boiler room.

Garden

The house sits on a plot of 1230 sq m and the garden is mainly laid to lawn with a number of mature and specimen trees. Again, there are fine countryside views from the garden.
