Les Houches, France

Chalet Rond is a traditional 4 bedroomed chalet of 142m² which was built in 1991. Situated in the charming hamlet of Taconnaz, it benefits from a large garden of 1136m² with uninterrupted views of Mont Blanc.

The contemporary accommodation is on three floors and is entered via the garden level into an entrance hall, with a laundry room, a cellar and a garage which could be converted into additional living space.

Stairs lead to the main floor which has a large, bright open plan living room with a wood-burning stove, access to a balcony with Mont Blanc views and a fully fitted kitchen. This floor also has a large bedroom with en-suite shower room and a WC.

The first floor has exposed beams and comprises three large bedrooms with access to a balcony, a family bathroom and WC.

The chalet further benefits from a mazot in the garden and the right to build an additional 56m² of habitable space.

Our opinion Chalet Rond offers an opportunity to purchase a chalet with the possibilty to add value (through developing the lower ground floor). A good option for a primary or secondary residence due to it's convenient yet quiet location without paying the Chamonix prices.
