Railway Cottage with Large Garden -..

Set just outside Saint Martin L'Ars, at the side of a long forgotten railway line is this railway cottage; like 100's more around France it was built to last and has for the past 15 years been the home of a mother and daughter who now in their 70's and 90's are going back to the UK.

St Martin L'Ars has a few small shops, post office and bar/restaurants together with a brilliant leisure lake which has fishing and swimming facilities. Further afield you have L'Isle Jourdain, Lussac Les Chateaux, Civray, Availles Limousine giving you everything you need amenties wise together with good holiday facilities and attractions.

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Poitiers (54km) and Limoges (77km); together with trains at Lussac Les Chateaux (31kms) with services to Poitiers train station where you have TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.

It is a few months ago since I took these pictures, the lady wanted to be prepared for when it was time to sell, hopefully over the next week I will go back and take some spring pictures and do this property justice.
