Renovated village cottage

This charming stone cottage, located in a village with a shop and a bar, has recently been fully renovated.

House

Ground floor

The front door opens into the entrance hall (11 sq m) with tiled floor, exposed beam ceiling and exposed stone walls. To the right a doorway leads through to the living room (35 sq m) with tiled floor and exposed stone walls. To one end is a large traditional limestone Charentaise fireplace (this end of the room is currently used as the sitting area). The other end of the room has a kitchen area and plenty of space for a good size dining table. A pair of glazed doors opens from the kitchen end to the small garden.

To the lefty of the entrance hall a corridor provides access to a shower room (shower, washbasin and plumbing for a washing machine) and a separate WC.

First floor

A wooden staircase rises from the entrance hall to the first floor landing (12 sq m) which is also used as a bedroom. From here one door opens to another room (9 sq m - with a sloping ceiling) which is also used as a bedroom. Another door from the landing bedroom opens to some attic space (useful storage).

Garage

A door from the rear of the entrance hall opens into the large garage (60 sq m). This is currently simply used as a garage but which could be incorporated into the habitable accommodation.
