Can you motivate, lead and manage a team? Are you analytical and forward thinking? Are you an expert in your discipline? A first class Consultancy firm is looking for a Civil and Structural Design Engineer, for all current civil, infrastructure and structural work across Singapore and Asia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Accountable for geotechnical design work
•Responsible for the production of design solutions and drawings, covering a range of project requirements from new build to modification, maintenance, refurbishment, foundation design and coordinating civil or structural engineering with geotechnical assessment.
•Ensure rock slope stability, excavatability and earthworks material acceptability assessments are collated, construction supervision for geotechnical works including large scale earthworks, piling, soil nailing, rock bolting, and tunneling.
•Analysis and design of retaining walls for deep excavations with single and multilayer struts, cantilever contiguous bored pile wall, pile foundation, mat foundation, PIT test, instrumented pile load test and technical report writing.
•Supporting colleagues or directly managing project scoping, design, contractual or financial management.
•Should have experience in high rise/institutional/healthcare/industrial buildings, bridges, underground MRT Tunnels and MRT Stations
•Assist and review on detailed drawings and plans for civil and structural designs
•Liaise with Contractors, Clients, Architects
•Ensure designs fit Client requirements and specifications
•Ensure designs meet health and safety standards and regulations
•Attend and deliver meetings and presentations

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
•MUST have previous experience in design submissions and design auditing
•MUST be familiar with Building Ordinance and regulations
•Knowledgeable in FEM Analysis and BIM Integration and Euro Code Design
•Ability to lead a small team, manage time and delegate tasks
•Self motivated individual, forward thinking with strong communication skills
•Minimum 6-8 years experience, those with less will be considered for Engineering position
