JOB TITLE

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER, HEAD (GEOTECHNICAL & TUNNELLING) ***MALAYSIA

A new contract has opened with an International company on major infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare proposals detailing development of costs, time scale, and resources

- Provide Civil/Structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes

- Prepare engineering plans, design documents and schematic layout for submission

- Review and evaluate technical drawings/plans for submissions

- Organize and coordinate technical documents.

- Attend site meetings and monitor work progress.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Degree or above in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent

- MUST be Chartered Member of a recognized affiliation

- Minimum 10 years experience preferably in design field in rail related or large infrastructure project with at least 4 years at senior managerial level

- Excellent technical, structural and design skills

- Experience in multi-disciplinary metro station or underground metro station works in urban environment or railway infrastructure or underground railway infrastructure project are highly preferred

- Good communication & interpersonal skills

- Highly self reliant, good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity

- Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment
