Situation: The community Ellmau "Wilden Kaiser" (2655 inhabitants, 820m above sea level) is located in the district Kufstein in Tyrol. Ellmau fascinates with the ski world Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, the biggest ski area in Austria. Aside of skiing activities like cross country skiing, tobogganing, paragliding, winter hiking, snow shoe walking, etc. are also among the offerings. In summer the town inspires with its beautiful hiking - and mountain bike routes. Something special in Ellmau for hot summer days are the Kaiser bath Ellmau, the bath lake in Going, the Hintersteiner Lake in Scheffau or the Panorama bath in Soll.

Ellmau is also famous for the golf course Wilder Kaiser.
