Stone built house with great views on the Gers countryside, this stunning house surrounded by nearly 9 acres of land and several barns is situated in the Midi-Pyrenees where the Gers, the Hautes-Pyrenees and the Haute-Garonne meet.
The main work has been done in this house but some parts need 'a finishing touch' and thus offers you the possibility to make it your ideal family home. The living with the beautiful fireplace is ready to move your furniture in.
Behind the dining you'll find the large room to establish your “ever desired' kitchen (with access to the future summer kitchen/terrace).
Further a beautiful bathroom. A huge room is now used for special occasions. Upstairs a lovely landing and 3 large bedrooms and a small one.
Preparations have been made for 2 or 3 bathrooms. In the garden, surrounded by the river Gers and the 'Tuscany hills' you have your own lake.
The land is suitable for horses. 3 barns (can be converted into guest gites), a garage and a stable for horses.
If you are looking for a nice spacious house where you can create your own family home by finishing the work.

The river Gers is on walking distance from the house. The impressive Pyrenees (visible from the house) feel so close by that you think that you could touch them. They are not that close to the house but it takes less than en hour to get there where you can put your ski's on.
The Tourmalet is waiting for your visit. Besides this there are some nice villages close by, like Castelnau Magnoac (Hautes-Pyrenees) with its friendly Saturday morning market, the library, nice restaurants, bars, shops, doctors and pharmacy.
Twice a year an antique market and the famous Flower market early in May. Or Boulogne sur Gesse (Haute Garonne) that offers you all you need and where you can meet on the well known Wednesday morning market at the cafe on the corner of the market square. Masseube (Gers) is well known for its foie gras.
The department of Hautes-Pyrenees is the southern-most department of the Midi Pyrenees region, its capital being the beautiful town of Tarbes. The department has a very interesting geography as two small sections belonging geographically to Aquitaine are administratively part of the Hautes-Pyrenees. The department is split into two very different landscapes: mountains to the south covering half of the department, valleys to the north where the majority of the towns and villages are.
The economy of the department is mainly agricultural and tourism. Inside Midi Pyrenees, smaller areas have traditional names such as the Comminges (east of Toulouse) or the famous Gascony.
Hautes-Pyrenees is a very nice area to settle and one area to look out for (not very well known) is the Baronnies, a set of 30 villages which decided to preserve their rural traditions. An unspoilt area, they represent the rural idyll for anybody in search for absolute peace, authenticity and rest.
