Rustic rental cottage in Central Portugal, within the region of the historic city of Coimbra (50km), and close to the attractive world heritage town of Tomar, popular with tourists and famous for its Knights Templar history, also close to the rural Aldeia do Xisto (all year long adventure and traditional culinary experiences). 45 min drive to the coast (Figueira da Foz), plus short drive to the local River Zezere with lots of Water-sports activities and River-beaches.

This lovely cottage has been recently renovated in keeping to the original style of the typical rustic house, with wooden flooring and beams, stone lintels etc. The cottage has 3 bedrooms; 2 double rooms and a smaller room with 1 single bed, the property has all the necessities for a baby (bed with sheets, baby chair and a baby buggy) .

It features a traditional country kitchen with all you should need for your stay: fridge, cooker, water heater etc, and for the winter months it has a traditional open fire. The dining area seats four. The cosy lounge has a two-seater sofa and a sofa bed for extra guests. There is TV with Zon (international channels) DVDS and books.

It is worth noting that when the property was renovated the originals door heights have been kept, this means doors and going up the steps has a low high about 1.65m).

The village of Ansiao is 7km away with all amenities needed. The area is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility, it's a beautiful area for walking, very close is the ' Anjo da Guarda' hight point to view the surrounding peaceful area, also perfect for picnics, the area offers many small and large local cities full of local history and culture.
