Locality: Msida

Msida is a harbour town in the eastern part of Malta, situated very close to Valletta. Msida became a parish in 1867 and the parish church, located in the center of the town is dedicated to St. Joseph, the patron saint of Msida. Msida used to be a fisherman's town, which is the town's name literal translation in Arabic. It is famous for its July feast as well as the local traditional game called 'Il Gostra'.
