This is a project that was interrupted by ill health, and a lot of the grunt work has been done.

Two properties, an old farmhouse in good condition, but a blank canvas internally; and a pre-revolution cottage where a lot of the work has been done. Most of the land with the property is to the front, where a lime and walnut tree provide much needed shade in the summer. There is land between the two properties, and a very private and sheltered garden to the rear of the small house.

In a lively hamlet it is a short drive to the nearest village with small shop and restaurant; or for more extensive shopping you have the choice of either Sauze Vaussais or Civray, both small market towns. The department towns of Poitiers and Angouleme with their TGV rail stations and international airports, and all that cities can offer are each under 1 hour's drive away.
