Two houses for the price of one! You will find these two houses in the beautiful Gers countryside with views over an immense lake and the Pyrenees. A neighbouring house belonging to a French family, with its back to these two houses, completes this small hamlet. These houses are located a nice distance from a very quiet lane.

MAIN HOUSE:

The main house was the former barn, which has been converted into a very special house on the first floor.

The ground floor is currently a workshop and a huge storage area/studio as well as a big garage. There is a possibility to create an apartment here, as there are already all the connections for a kitchen/bathroom.

SECOND HOUSE:

On the other side of the courtyard you will find the second house. How nice it is to have breakfast on one of the two terraces of this cottage and have a breathtaking view over the huge lake and countryside. This house offers all you need and wood burners (2) will keep you warm in winter. However there is also electric heating. There is an open living room with kitchen/dining area, an extra kitchen with laundry, bathroom, toilet.

First floor: 3 bedrooms and an extra one on the mezzanine, bathroom and toilet. Dream away while sitting watching the fish in the pond in front of the house and enjoy life like it has to be: calm and peaceful. You could consider renting it for summer guests. This house can be sold separately from the main house. All the rooms in the main house are big with high ceilings. You enter the house by a large staircase and a nice balcony. The living room with kitchen is huge but cosy.

There are three bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a toilet, All of the rooms are on the first floor. A mezzanine which could be converted into an extra bedroom is on the second floor.

The roof has been very well insulated. So you need have no fears about heating the rooms in our mild winters.

The workshop and studio are suitable for all kind of activities, work or hobbies. In front of the main house you can relax in the pool with views of the garden with pond and the rolling hills, including the Pyrenees.

The Gers has been chosen as the “second best' place to live after Andalusia (Spain).
