UNIQUE country house with lots of..

Situated in a small hamlet with the chateau and the working farm as the only neighbours, neither of which impact on the calm surrounding this unique country house, if you love the thought of trees and birds and flowers and calm - this is it! Up the little lane and in through the gates we have a large graveled area with a big car port. Into the house we have a very large sitting room (around 50m2) with big French windows, exposed beams, fireplace and old terracotta tiled floor - lovely!

This is a big family house, so each of the rooms is showing plenty of activity - the photos are looking a bit crowded, but there's plenty of space to use up, here. To the left of the sitting room we have an office with windows on two sides and, to the rear, we have a dining room and a compact fitted kitchen, with big pantry and laundry one side and a utility room with shower / WC the other. Out from the dining room we have a big decked area - what a lovely place to eat in the Spring! Upstairs, we have a landing with minstrel gallery, then, around a very 'busy' upstairs, we have one big bedroom and a very big, cool, bathroom, plus 4 more bedrooms and lots of TV / play areas.

Outside, we have a simply gorgeous garden with veggie patch, and lots of mature fruit trees, oaks, cedars and a 'lightning tree' it really is a simply charming spot. The owners have lived here with a growing family for 17 years - the garden has obviously been a refuge and a passion, although indoors feels well lived in, there are some many charming nooks and crannies, so, you can really see where you are going to be, here! Simply, lovely!
