Very Well Presented Village Home

Located in a pretty village near the market town of Chateau-la-Valliere and Savigne-sur-Lathan within a short distance of the popular tourist destination of the lake at Rille with great access to the Loire Valley this period home has been restored to a very high level now offering ample comfortable accommodation for either permanent or holiday home. Dating back to the 19c this home has stood the test of time and the current owner, after inheriting it from her parents, has spent time and money creating what is today a beautifully presented village home in this popular part of the Loire Valley. Once through the solid ornate front door you immediately get the impression of what this home has to offer, the high ceilings, warm colours and tiled floors create the theme throughout the ground floor. The main lounge with period fireplace and the study (or second lounge) are both south facing, the refurbished kitchen enjoys unrivalled views over the private rear garden, the utility room (in it's original state) leads to the "Bistro" (a charming breakfast/garden room). A wc completes the ground floor. On the 1st floor another large corridor provides access to the 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The attic is large and prime for conversion if further space is needed. The rear walled private garden offers patio, small lawn area and flower borders with a path leading to the large double garage with street access from the rear. Under the double garage hides a large vaulted wine cellar and with attic space above you have a building with numerous possibilities. Mains drainage, water, internet, etc, etc. and a private well complete this beautiful village home. Tours is about 40 minutes away and Bourgeuil or Langeais in less than 30 minutes. A charming home in a village with school, bar, bakers and within easy reach of two popular market towns. Well worth a visit in our opinion. (reference: NLEN001844)
