Yurt Holidays - Torre del Mar, Malaga..

And now for something completely different! A Mongolian yurt and chalet being operated as a home and glamping business. And before you ask that isn't a spelling mistake. Glamping is the new in thing with the word being a combination of glamorous camping! Now me being, according to my wife, a miserable old git you might expect me to be a bit dismissive of this new fangled concept but not a bit of it. I have enjoyed a long but unfulfilled love affair with yurts which provide beautiful, comfortable and extremely practical accommodation. I am not in the least bit surprised that this one does great rental business!

The yurt sleeps 6 and comes with a double bed, double futon amd 2 single futons.

For the owner (or for rental as well if you prefer) there is an air conditioned one bedroomed wooden chalet with L shaped reception room that sleeps 4 and is sold with 2 single sofa beds.

To service the accommodation there is a covered utility area with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and 2 sinks.

Another brick built building attached to the utility area provides a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom.

The secluded and fully fenced plot is approx 1.800 m2 of flat gardens with a large carp pond, terraces and over ground swimming pool . The pond in actually the on escritura as a swimming pool so no problem converting it back or replacing it. There is also a covered car port on the site.

The location could not be better for rentals with the property being between Torre Del Mar and Almayate, just off the N340 coast road. This used to be a bit of a nightmare in the past but since the construction of the new motorway further inland the traffic has gone and you can now enjoy driving almost on the beach. It really is a beautiful location.

Malaga airport is about 40 minutes whilst schools, hospitals, shops etc are a short (couple of minutes) drive away in Torre del Mar. For restaurants you have a huge choice in either direction along the coast road.

For people who do not want to drive there are regular buses to Malaga and Torre del Mar.

The current owners no longer live on site and rent out the chalet as well as the yurt. This gives them the income they need to tour in their camper van. Not your everyday lifestyle but it is a lifestyle that will appeal to the adventurous. The camper van by the way is for sale separately!
