Santiago de la Ribera is just a 10 minute drive from San Javier airport and is the perfect location for a holiday home or a permanent residence. Whilst the population grows in Summer, unlike some destinations it does not become ' dead ' in Winter and has a healthy number of permanent residents which sustain local business, services and activities. Whilst having a car would be useful to explore the many interesting places nearby, it is not essential.
