Outside The gardens are walled and gated for security and the gardens and pool are lit at night. There is a large sun shelter and BBQ for your use. Conveniently located a 5 min walk from the many facilities of Dalyan with shops, bars and restaurants, banks, chemists, bus and taxi ranks, car/bike hire, tourist offices and the River Dalyan. Dalyan / Arikbasi Area Dalyan remains a relatively unspoilt traditional Turkish village, with its wealth of hospitality and charm. Situated between the beautiful lake Koygeiz and the famous Turtle beach conservation area and wildlife sanctuary. Wherever you look, Dalyan has beautiful scenery; sea, river, mountains, lakes trees, reed beds. You do not need to hire a car during your stay as you are very close to the dolmus (bus) terminal and to the taxis, and river taxis. Bikes can be hired for a small daily fee. There is a plentiful supply of licensed companies offering day trips all over the region. You can catch the bus to the beach which takes a scenic 20 minutes and catch the river taxi back and take in the breath taking view of the Tombs. Dalyan has everything you need to have a fantastic holiday - the outstanding turtle beach, a bustling market, traditional restaurants and bars, many along the Dalyan riverside giving a lovely setting. It has historic places of interest including the Lycean tombs overlooking the town and the vast ruins of Caunos. The Dalyan market is one not to be missed, here you can purchase locally produced fresh produce, spices, Turkish delight, ‘fake designer’ clothes and accessories, holiday gifts to name but a few. Dalyan has more than 100 places for you to eat and relax in, locally you can find the garden restaurants and a further out of town the special river and wildlife sanctuary restaurants, which offer free pick up and drop off services. Paradise in Dalyan Iztuzu (also known as "Turtle Beach") lies at the mouth of a fabulous river delta. As the boat splutters through 10ft-high reeds, Lycian tombs slide by adorning the hillsides. The beach itself is a spit separating the delta from the sea, so you have the choice of freshwater or seawater swimming. Sun worshippers need armfuls of sunscreen as the only shade is at either end of the beach (and keep in mind that the beach is approximately 5 km. long), where there are limited sun loungers and facilities. The beach also is one of the last natural breeding grounds for the loggerhead turtle. As well as a great place to watch wildlife and explore, there are many other activities on offer , something for everyone from turtle spotting, quad bike safaris, paragliding, white water rafting, micro light flying, jeep safari, the famous mud baths, traditional Turkish dancing, etc.
