General Description
The 280 Flybridge Sedan was a popular model for Luhrs during the 1970s because of her affordable price, spacious interior and rugged good looks. By using V-drives to move the engine aft beneath the cockpit sole, Luhrs engineers were able to set the cabin low, in the hull, allowing for the addition of a flybridge without making the boat top-heavy in appearance.

Built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull, with a wide 11' 2\" beam, the 280 Sedan is a roomy boat for her size, both inside and out. There's enough square footage in the cockpit for some light-tackle fishing, and the interior, with a wide dinette, V-berths forward, a full galley and an enclosed head, with shower that is larger than one might expect, in a boat this size.

Actual Condition
It was reported, while underway, the dampener plate between the transmission and the motor was failing. The Luhrs had to be towed in and while docked, the vessel took on water, due to a thinned, corroded, raw water cooling intake pipe cracking.

She will need work; however, the general condition of the vessel appears to be good. Send in your offers!
