A proven tournament winner, the Contender 31 Open is a brawny, top-quality fisherman whose meticulous finish and high-performance capabilities placed her in the forefront of large center console fishing machines. The 31 is cored above the waterline, and her deep-V hull features wide reverse chines and two lifting strakes per side to provide a dry ride. A single-level cockpit makes the Contender an easier boat to move around in than most other center consoles with their bow-casting platforms. Features include an integrated dive platform with ladder, 40-gallon livewells (2), transom door, leaning post with tackle center, in-deck fish boxes (2 forward, 2 aft), recessed bow rails, raw-water washdown, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage, recessed trim tabs, walk-in console with marine head, cockpit bolsters and an anchor locker.
