The 40' Formula 400 Super Sport is an American built entry into the high-performance luxury sport boat market. Long and narrow, the 400 is built on Formula’s “Fas3Tech” hull bottom -  a double stepped deep-V affair designed to reduce the water’s grip on the hull. The result, according to company engineers, is a faster and more stable boat that runs at near-optimal running angles without the need to constantly trim the drives. 

Beautifully styled, the Super Sport is a superb day boat with plenty of cockpit space and a wide open interior: With the master stateroom aft, a rich ultra-leather wrap around lounge forward and four overhead translucent hatches providing lots of light and air. 

On deck, the double wide helm seat folds away for stand up driving, and a walk-through windshield opens to a wide stretch of non-skid deck leading to the bow.

Notable features include a recessed anchor storage compartment, a hinged storage locker at the transom, and good engine access.
