General Description

The Hatteras 58 Long Range Cruiser is one of the most sought out ocean cruising yachts ever built. She was built for ocean cruising with a fuel capacity to cruise over 2,000 miles. These are serious and very popular cruising yachts that usually need no introduction. The wheelhouse fully encloses from the galley-up and main salon. She features a convenient day-head just steps away from the helm.

Actual Condition

This 58' Hatteras was donated to a Charity that we represent. We are told that the yacht has been used very little for the past 4-5 years, thus it is in need of some mechanical and cosmetic work. The interior veneer and woodwork appear to be in very nice condition.

There are 3 generators that we are evaluating. The one small generator has been taken apart and probably needs to be replaced. The two larger units need batteries at a minimum. There are 5 A/C units that we are also evaluating. The pump that provides water to them needs replacing.

The engines have about 6,000 hours on them. The fuel is old and we will be pumping it out and changing fuel filters, etc. We will be updating the actual condition as our investigation continues.
