Experienced Drivers and Recent Grads Encouraged to Apply
Flatbed operation with drivers averaging 1,900 miles per week and average 8 to 10 deliveries each week.
Flatbed experience not required
Must Have Valid Class A CDL and clean records
Drivers will generally be home nightly with the possibility of being away from home 2 to 3 nights per week. Drivers are home every weekend based on customer need.
Schedule/Shift: Drivers will generally run within a 250 mile radius of the terminal but may go further based on customer need.

SPECIFIC FLATBED OPERATION INFORMATION:
Are loads always preloaded? 50% of the Time
Are loads live loaded? 50% to 85% of the Time
Loads are pre-tarped? 80% of the Time

Home Time: Drivers will generally be home everyday but may be away from home 2 to 3 nights per week based on customer need. Drivers will generally be home every weekend but this is based on customer needs.

Equipment: Drivers will be assigned a day cab or sleeper unit to drive. Tractors are not permitted to be taken home and must be returned to the yard after each shift.
All sleeper units have QUALCOMM communication. Qualcomm is a satellite communication device that drivers use to communicate with their driver manager. Day cabs will have either radio or Qualcomm communication.
Sleeper Unit: Transmission: New OTR units have Ultra shift (No clutch pedal) and are automatic. Each auto transmission is a ten speed.
Horse Power: 2006 and older =355/380 - 2007 and newer = 415
Engine Type: Mack 2006 and older is Aset engine, 2007 and newer is MP8. New Internationals Maxforce 13 /450 hp
Sleeper: 70” Mid-rise- 6’4” person can stand up without touching the ceiling. Can have a refrigerator, TV, VCR and a small closet, includes a small workstation.
Day Cab: Transmission: New units have Ultra shift (No clutch pedal) and are automatic. New Day Cabs have 10 speed auto transmissions.

GENER AL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

1. Be at least 21 years old or older. (391.11 b 1)

2.Read & speak the English language sufficiently to converse

w/general public, understand safety signs & signals and respond to

official inquiries & make entries on reports/records (391.11 b 2)

3. Must have valid CDL license

4. Cannot currently hold an “Occupational or Restricted” license

5. Has the legal right to live and work in the U.S. or Canada

6. Passes training/orientation requirements (*including a road test-391.11)

7. PSP scores will be obtained by every hire and patterns of violations will be reviewed.

8. Must have graduated from an accredited truck driving school or have 6 months experience.

9. Must meet the minimum requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
