General Description
The O'Day 40 is a fast cruising yacht with many innovative features. It incorporates the best of all worlds; a spacious, well-appointed interior with a comfortable and safe sailing platform that will perform well all across the wind spectrum.

The main salon is exceptionally bright, airy, and spacious, with an open layout that makes her feel even larger than she actually is. They didn't skimp on storage in the process; storage space is everywhere. The cockpit is a very roomy 7-feet long. The O'Day 40 Mark is the most completely outfitted, spacious and luxurious yacht ever presented by O'Day.

Actual Condition
This is a donation boat. The donor advises that: \"The only issue with the boat is gel coat crazing of portions of the deck. This started about 3 years after the boat was built. I believe they are a result of the gel coat being applied too thick. Because the gel coat is cast with a non-skid texture on the deck, they are difficult to address. The proper solution would be to Awlgrip the deck. The hull is excellent and has never had a blister issue. It needs a good cleaning and waxing to bring up its color and gloss. No issues with the rig; it's ready to go. No electrical issues; boat is equipped with 2 house battery banks with a high output alternator and a separate starting battery with its own alternator. It will need batteries. There is no mechanical issues; engine hours about 1500. Numerous spares for cruising.\"
