There are plenty of choices when shopping for a motor yacht but very few offer the versatility, style and class of the Carver 444 Extended Cockpit Motor Yacht. The most important choice that the owner made was choosing the ES (Extended Salon) interior layout option.  The ES layout gives the salon the spaciousness and feel of a 50' yacht. The entire interior is tastefully finished in high-gloss cherry complemented by designer décor. The two private cabins are gorgeous with the owners suite aft. The master has a queen-size berth with an innerspring mattress, his and her hanging lockers, nightstands, drawers and ample light and ventilation (thanks to the rear-opening door and two opening ports). The head has two opening ports, a separate shower stall with handy grab rail, good stowage and a solid surface counter. The forward guest stateroom has a queen-size bed, a cedar-lined hanging locker, an overhead hatch and two opening ports.

A lot of thought went into the 444's cockpit and swim platform. The area includes a telescoping ladder, an optional shower, courtesy lights, stowage, tender cleats and an accessible shore power hookup. A sliding door allows access from the after stateroom to the cockpit.

The helm has a full suite of Raymarine navigation equipment including auto-pilot and includes a tilt wheel and drink holders. The console is finished in an attractive bronze fiberglass finish that reduces glare. The pedestal-mounted seat is comfortable and swings around so the captain can join guests at the six-person L-shape settee.

Access to the engine room is through the saloon sole. Most systems are easy to service, although the Racor filters are outboard and forward of the engines. Items that require routine checks under way, such as fuel filters, are more accessible. The area is well finished, with coded copper-tinned wiring that is beautifully harnessed and easy to trace.

This clean freshwater 444 is equipped with twin 370 HP Cummins diesel engines. The raised walk deck design allows for a wider, roomier cabin than other yachts this size. The large salon and galley combine into one spacious “great room” which makes you feel right at home. The expansive salon has a panoramic outside view, almost seven feet of headroom, a TV, a stereo, a table with 4 chairs, and an ultra-leather sofa that has two recliners. The galley has a large refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, a large sink, and Karadon countertops. The two staterooms have queen size beds and their own private head compartments with stall showers. As you move outside, the fully enclosed aft deck offers a hardtop that covers the entire deck, wing doors that provide easy access to the side decks, and a convenient integral bridge stairway. The fully enclosed flybridge has L-shaped lounge that seats five, wet bar and ice maker. The large cockpit offers plenty of additional space for water sports, easier boarding, and relaxing at the dock. The 444 is equipped with air conditioning, reverse cycle heat, generator, major electronics, swim platform, windlass, auto pilot, two stereos, bow sun pads and an electronics arch.

She is absolutely pristine and worth the trip from anywhere to see her. Kept in FRESHWATER and inside winter heated storage has kept her looking like a much newer vessel.  This Fresh Water yacht has always been professionally maintained with many upgrades by the owner using an open checkbook.
