1973/2009 46 Bertram-Outta the Blue went through an extensive refit in 2009 with new paint, engines removed, rebuilt and repainted. A new hardtop was also installed. The 8v71 TI's currently only have 1643 hours on them. Outta the Blue has one of the cleanest engine rooms you will find anywhere! She is completely decked out with Blue Water's teak Helm and 130 class fighting chairs, 41' triple spreader Rupp outriggers, up to date Garmin electronics including satellite weather and radio, 72mile HD radar, sonar with chirp transducer, Flir night vision, engine and generator room cameras, 2 VHF radios, KVH satellite TV, engine oil pump system, fuel priming pumps, Hydraulic clutches and throttles, Simrad autopilot and a Racor crankcase ventilation system. She will sleep six in bunks with a queen in the master, vee berths up front, and a fold-out double in the salon and 2 of the 3 AC units are new (2018/2019). She sports a new windlass and bow pulpit, transom live well and tuna tubes with a new swimming pool pump, refrigerated cold plate drink box, and a cold-water fish box both in the mezzanine seating, and a large chest freezer and a full-size side by side freezer/refrigerator in the galley.  There are 26 ceiling-mounted rod holders inside and 19-rod holders outside. In 2015 a new 12.5kw Westerbeake generator was installed, which currently has 1655 hours on it and in 2019 a new electrical end was put on it. In 2018 a new steering ram and lines were installed. Engines have been recently tuned up and water impellers and zincs changed. Also, 4 new 8D Interstate batteries were installed in 2018. She is truly ready to go anywhere!
