Compound Interest is a Ted Hood designed 78 foot sailing yacht built by the very respectable Lien Hwa boatyard.

She is a true world cruising, blue water sailing yacht that was designed with owner comfort and safety in mind.  A tall rig sloop with cutter stay sail, combined with a semi-fin keel, means this sailboat can sail.  And with twin engine Cummins Diesels, she can power in the roughest of conditions in absolute safety.  The pilot house provides shelter from the elements when underway and the huge topside cockpit is ideal for lounging on deck in comfort and style.

Compound Interest has all the amenities of a true yacht, with touch button sail controls. Hydraulics enable the main and foresail to furl and unfurl effortlessly.  Hydraulic winches sheet the sails easily for trimming in heavy conditions.  The crew can be shorthanded and is able to control the sails at all times. This yacht is ideal for a couple or family to sail around the world.

Compound Interest has crossed the Atlantic twice; the owner spent years traveling around the Med, then back to the Caribbean where she lies now.  He has been cruising for 15 years.  Owner wants to move on and pass her into good hands.
